N3n@mor3z
I NEED IDEAS ON A CUTE WAY TO TELL MY HUSBAND IM PREGNANT HE IS VERY ROMANTIC AND CUTE WEN HE TELLS ME STUFF AND THIS IS REALLY SPECIAL I REALLY WANT TO MAKE IT EVEN MORE SPECIAL FOR US...
Answer
When I was a little girl, I used to love the show Full House. In one episode, the wife of one of the brothers wanted a unique way to tell her husband that she was expecting. As a hint, she made a dinner for him of baby back ribs, baby corn, baby peas, and baby carrots.
While making dinner, say "honey, there's a bun in the oven, could you please get it out for me?" When he looks, he will find the pregnancy test you left there for him to find. (Remember not to turn the oven on.)
Leave the pregnancy test in the cookie jar for him to find. Of course you will probably want to take the cookies out first.
Do you make his lunch every day before sending him off to work? Seal the positive pregnancy test in a zip-top bag ad place it in his lunch bag. He will be so surprised.
There's nothing more fun than a scavenger hunt. Leave clues around the house for him to follow and find the pregnancy test at the end or perhaps a rattle or a pair of baby shoes.
Is your hubby a techie geek? If he's like mine and sits down at the computer after work before even taking off his jacket, this might be the best way to get his attention. Leave two windows open on his computer that he will see as soon as he turns the monitor on. On the first, leave a large message that says "now that I have your attention..." and on the second window, put up a huge photo of your positive pregnancy test.
Do you think you can get your doctor in on it? Have your care provider make a call to your husband and play a little joke on him. Your doctor could say something funny like "This is Dr. Smith from the hospital. Sir, I'm calling to inform you that your wife is here and we have you listed as her emergency contact." Once he's been thoroughly terrified, your doctor can follow with "I just wanted to call and congratulate you! You're going to be a father!" The only drawback is that you won't be able to see your husband's face when he hears the news.
The next time you go shopping together, head to the children's clothing section and start putting items into your cart. If you are at the grocery store, start putting baby items in such as baby powder, diapers, and baby shampoo. See how long it takes him to get it.
Take the batteries out of the remote control and leave a note inside. When he gets home and settles down to turn on the TV, he will find that the remote doesn't work. The first thing he will do is check the battery compartment and find the note inside: "I'm pregnant!"
Set out an extra place setting on the dinner table. When he asks if you are expecting someone, just smile and nod. When he asks who, say "well, its kind of early and I hadn't really thought of any names yet."
Just a few cute ideas.. Have fun! Let us know what you decide to do and what his reaction is! :)
