Where can I buy a vibrating unit insert for my son's bassinet?

Janis, Cha

Or do they even sell them? I have looked on ebay and walmart.com and even did an internet search, but there is nothing coming up. ebay only had one thing and it was from Australia. This is an older style bassinet.

Answer
I had little luck locating after market vibration devices to soothe the child to sleep. There are some light/sound devices that can help and work in a variety of areas.

In addition, if you are searching for units which monitor your child's movement while he/she sleeps:

Trying searching "Baby Movement Monitor".

Plenty of products...depends on how much you want to spend. If you are not interested in searching, I've linked a few products below from a few big box stores. The products are available online and in most stores.

my 2 week old only likes sleeping on his belly?

Sophie mum

i know its better for babies to sleep on there back but my 2 week old only likes sleeping on his belly. if i put him on his back he wakes up and starts crying, so what should i do???

Answer
Its up to you, you could try letting baby sleep on his side and use a baby positioner. If you want to leave him on his belly, I do know several Moms that do that and just use the angelcare system. Its a pad that you put under the crib mattress, and it would alert you if your baby would stop breathing. I think I would leave my baby sleep on his belly if he would definitely prefer it, and just use the angelcare to keep a watch on him. Your decision though. Here is the angelcare system Im talking about, its available at places like Target, Babies R Us, walmart, or even ebay (for cheaper)
