Q. hi.if you have really used a baby video monitor ,please share you experience about the model and brand and also suggest me a good one at reasonable price.and what are th features generally these monitors have like monitor is portable from one room to another, volume control and what else? and which one is the easiest and the most flexible one to capture a baby who moves around a lot in his pack and play.thanks in advance

There are a few to choose from. The one the previous answerer has is probably the Summer Infant Day and Night Video monitor for $100. It is a good monitor and the screen is large enough to pan out for a baby that moves a lot. The negative is it's not portable. For $140 you can get the same monitor with an additional portable audio monitor so you can listen into the room even if you go outside.
I'm not a big fan of most of the portable monitors for the reason you mentioned. With a 1-3" screen, you have to have it focused on a part of the crib, and if your child moves out of that area, you've got an expensive audio monitor.
One exception is the MobiCam. It is a handheld unit ($130-160) depending on the model. For another $50 you can buy an A/V kit which allows you to hook the monitor up to your wireless network, a laptop or TV. If you're Techy enough you can even stream it to watch when you're away from home.
Both the Summer Infant and MobiCam have multiple channels, and sell additional cameras so you can monitor more than one room without having to buy entire systems. Child 1's room is on channel A and Child 2's room is on channel B, and you just switch channels on the monitor to switch between rooms.

Hello!First, about me: I am a sixteen year old home schooled vegan. The rest of my family is vegetarian so we often have eggs and various dairy products in our house. While I am vegan, I am quite fine with feeding mice to my rosy boa. I also happen to have a thriving dubia colony for my beardie because I have no fear of bugs. Being at home for most of the time, I can most certainly supply as much nurturing and commitment that the reptile will need. This being said, I would love if the reptile I get can be handled even if it takes a year to get to that point. I am fully capable of keeping whatever reptile I choose for as long as it lives.
About the mystery reptile: Although I am open to any ideas you guys might have, I do require a few things. For one I would like the reptile to be able to be handled, a display animal is not right for me. The animal must also get larger than a bearded dragon, I'm ready for a larger reptile. While I do have room for a large enclosure, both length and height, I cannot supply an entire room. Even though I cannot have the cage be the size of the room, I am perfectly okay with taking the lizard outside for hours of supervised play or even letting it free roam the house for hours.
Thanks for reading through all of this, sorry it's so much. I just want the lizard I choose to be the right one. Whichever I end up choosing, I'll be sure to do months of extensive research prior to purchasing my new friend.
