What do you think? Does it really work or do you get a lot of false alarms?

i have only gotten one false alarm in 10 months
my child had sleep apnea till my child was a year so after the doc him off the medical montior i went and bought this monitor
and its still working
i love it and i tell everyone who is worried or think their children may have a problem to go out and buy this

oh and i dunno what the person above me is talkin bout cuz it does work in a bassinet u need to put something hard like a piece of wood or big childrens book under it (it tell u all this in the manual)
but my friend is using it in a bassinet cuz her child has seizures and it works so i cant understand y somone would say that lol

I already have a baby monitor set, but I was curious...if I bought just the monitor that you hear your baby from, would it work with any brand monitor as long as it on the same chanel? Kinda like a walky-talky?

Not sure, but I don´t think it will work. I found that angelcare works the best for me, it picks up sound, and monitors their breathing. If he stops breathing a alarm goes of, you can use that till they are 12 years old...
